Hey there, and welcome to my very first post on LandscapeLens! I’m Fiona, and I’ve created this space to share my passion for landscape photography. I’ve always had a love for nature and travel. Photography has been my way of capturing the beauty and magic I see around me. Honestly, starting this blog is a promise I made to myself: to stop letting things get in the way and just begin. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but I know I need to start somewhere… so here I am, doing it.

My photography journey began back in 2012 when I was in high school. I was instantly hooked on how a single photo could capture a moment in time; the light, the mood, the feeling. Recently, I’ve been focusing on mountain landscapes and sunsets. It probably has a lot to do with the geographical area I’ve found myself living in, but there’s also just something about the vastness of a mountain or the stillness of a sunset that speaks to me, and I try to capture that feeling in every shot.

For me, photography isn’t just about taking pictures. It’s about preserving the essence of a moment. Every photo is a piece of magic that I get to hold onto and share with others. I want my photos to not only show you the beauty of nature but also make you feel something. Whether it’s peace, awe, or simply a reminder of how beautiful the world can be.

Here on LandscapeLens, I’ll be sharing my photography, the stories behind my shots, tips I’ve picked up along the way, and plenty of moments from my adventures in the great outdoors. This blog is my way of connecting with others who love photography and nature as much as I do, and maybe inspiring you to go out and explore the world through your own lens.
